You will quantify project quantities, assemble estimates, review drawings, and coordinate with owners, design teams, and vendors to ensure accurate bids and profitable projects. The ideal candidate holds a 4-year degree in engineering or construction management, with strong MS Office skills and extensive experience in electrical estimating, Conest, and Accubid.

Qualifications

• Requires 4-year degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent.
• Experience estimating electrical projects; knowledge of mechanical, civil, and structural projects is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Quantify project quantities using on-screen and manual take-off tools.
• Assemble estimates for budgeting and bid submittals.
• Review drawings and data to prepare itemized material and labor lists.
• Coordinate with owners, design team, and vendors to review estimates and bid requirements.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and equipment vendors to negotiate pricing.
• Monitor project estimates to protect profit margins and support cost control.
