Majority Builders is seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. This role is crucial to the success of our design-build and competitive bid projects, requiring a detail-oriented construction professional who can produce accurate and competitive electrical estimates, contribute to early-stage design development, and ensure a seamless hand-off to our internal electrical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing quantity takeoffs, developing clear and professional proposals, and coordinating with design teams to offer cost insights and value-engineering options.
• Overseeing estimating schedules, managing bid-day activities, and maintaining communication with subcontractors.
• Support project setup and provide leadership to field personnel during early mobilization, helping to establish expectations, resolve scope-related questions, and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Extensive knowledge of construction methods, cost controls, and procurement strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proven ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a collaborative team setting.
• Experience with project management and pre-construction principles.

Requirements

• Associates Degree
• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial electrical estimating.
• ICC National Standard Electrician Certification or working towards certification.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local requirements.
• Proven leadership experience in supervising field personnel.
