Position: Senior Electrical Estimator

Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our preconstruction team. This role involves an 80/20 split between estimating and project management, focusing on design-build projects using Conest software.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead design-build electrical estimating efforts
2. Perform detailed takeoffs using Conest software
3. Develop value engineering solutions
4. Review plans and specifications
5. Coordinate with project teams and clients
6. Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
7. Participate in project handoff meetings
8. Support project management initiatives (20%)
9. Mentor junior team members
10. Collaborate with design teams

Required Qualifications:

1. 3+ years electrical estimating experience
2. Proficiency in Conest software
3. Strong design-build project background
4. Experience in commercial and multi-family projects
5. Excellent skills in reading and interpreting plans
6. Strong industry relationships
7. Value engineering expertise
8. Effective communication skills
9. Detail-oriented with analytical skills
