Job summary

Fallon Electric Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team in Pittsburgh. You will prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates for commercial electrical projects and review plans, specs, and bid documents to help drive our growth.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction methods, plus proficiency with estimating software and MS Office. Collaborative bid process involvement and organized bid records are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating commercial electrical construction projects.
• Familiar with healthcare facilities, higher education projects, and tenant fit-outs/build-outs.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction methods.
• Proficient in estimating software and MS Office.

We are a growing commercial electrical contractor serving Southwestern Pennsylvania and are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who can accurately prepare competitive estimates and help drive the continued success of our company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial electrical projects.
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and material pricing.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Collaborate with customers throughout the bidding process.
• Assist with value engineering and budgeting opportunities.
• Maintain organized bid documentation and estimating records.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience estimating commercial electrical construction projects.
• Experience with healthcare facilities, higher education projects, and commercial tenant fit-outs/build-outs is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and applicable codes.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
