Electrical Estimator with Accubid Experience

This role is hosted by David Rocha at Jobot. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator proficient in Accubid software to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed, accurate, and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to estimate costs.
• Consult with clients, vendors, and team members to discuss and resolve estimates and issues.
• Conduct studies to develop standard hour and cost data or to reduce costs.
• Review material and labor requirements to optimize cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain documentation and cost monitoring systems throughout projects.
• Establish and manage tendering processes and negotiations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in electrical estimating or related field.
• Proficient in Accubid and other electrical estimating software.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction processes.
• Ability to read electrical plans and specifications.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
