Job summary

Leapros Skilled Trades in Monroe, NC is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join a growing commercial electrical contractor. The role involves developing accurate estimates, reviewing bid opportunities with leadership, and performing detailed takeoffs using Accubid Anywhere.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of electrical experience, 3+ years of commercial project exposure, and a strong grasp of the preconstruction process.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electrical experience.
• 3+ years of commercial project experience.
• Experience with mid-sized commercial projects — hospitals, schools, hotels, police stations, etc.
• Ground-up AND renovation experience.
• Strong understanding of the electrical preconstruction process.
• Ability to confidently read electrical drawings and specifications.
• 1+ year of Accubid Anywhere experience.
• Microsoft Office / Excel experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate estimates and formal proposal packages.
• Review bid invitations and sales opportunities with leadership
• Review drawings and specifications.
• Perform detailed electrical takeoffs using Accubid Anywhere.
• Maintain organized bid records, vendor pricing, and customer information.
• Collaborate with the team on scope, pricing, and bid strategy.

• 4+ years of electrical experience
