Job summary

G&E Partners in Florida is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support busy projects with hands-on experience in take-offs, labor and materials pricing, and bid submission. You will work closely with Chief Estimators on a range of commercial and industrial electrical packages.

This role requires reading electrical drawings, coordinating with vendors, and using estimating software such as Accubid, Bluebeam, ConEst, or McCormick.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience supporting electrical construction projects.
• Local to the Miami / South Florida market, or open to relocating.
• Experience preparing take-offs, pricing labor and materials, reviewing bid documents, and supporting competitive tender submissions.
• Exposure to commercial, government, educational, hospitality, residential, industrial, or mission critical projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, one-lines, panel schedules, and project scopes.
• Familiarity with estimating software such as Accubid, Bluebeam, ConEst, McCormick, or similar platforms.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure accurate bid coverage.

Responsibilities

• Support the full preconstruction and estimating process, including reviewing bid documents and take-offs.
• Pricing labor and materials and coordinating vendor quotations for bids.
• Assist with competitive bid submissions across a range of complex projects.

G&E Partners is partnered with a leading electrical sub-contractor in Florida that is actively expanding their project teams due to a strong and long-term project backlog. They are delivering some of the most high-profile projects in South Florida and are looking to bring on an Electrical Estimator to help carry out these projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to complex construction projects while working directly with experienced Chief Estimators.

Requirements:

A driven Electrical Estimator with the following background:

• At least 1 years’ experience supporting electrical construction projects, ideally with an electrical subcontractor.
• Local to the Miami / South Florida market, or open to relocating.
• Experience preparing take-offs, pricing labor and materials, reviewing bid documents, and supporting competitive tender submissions.
