The ideal candidate will analyze drawings and specifications, collaborate with PMs, engineers, and procurement, and participate in bid reviews and value engineering for complex electrical construction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Estimator or similar.
• Experience estimating projects in the $5M–$60M range.
• Ability to analyze drawings and specifications to develop accurate bids.

Position Overview

Ennis Electric Co., Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Estimator to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who excels in preparing accurate, competitive estimates for complex electrical construction projects and thrives in a relationship-driven environment.

The successful candidate will lead estimating efforts on projects ranging from $5M to $60M, spanning diverse public and institutional sectors, while building strong partnerships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate bids
• Lead and coordinate the estimating process from concept through submission
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners
• Participate in bid reviews, value engineering, and post-bid negotiations

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience as aSenior Electrical Estimatoror similar role
• Strong proficiency in:
• Accubid Classic
• Accubid Anywhere / Accubid Enterprise
• Experience estimating projects in the$5M–$60M range

Project Experience Must Include:

• Institutional projects
• Federal, state, and local government work
• K–12 education facilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience withVista (Viewpoint Vista ERP)is a strong plus
