Job summary

IES Electrical in Nebraska seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator to deliver accurate bids for commercial and industrial projects across Kearney, Grand Island, Norfolk and Holdrege. You will guide projects from concept to completion, coordinating with architects, engineers, and suppliers to compile complete proposals.

The role emphasizes strong estimating skills, proficiency with blueprints and codes, and effective collaboration with subcontractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience or education in electrical field work, estimating, or engineering.
• Working knowledge of blueprints, specifications, applicable codes, and regulations.
• Able to work in one of our Nebraska offices.
• Strong computer skills, including the ability to work efficiently with estimating software.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must successfully pass a post-offer background check, drug test and motor vehicle record check.

IES Electrical is looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator for work in Nebraska. Office locations include Kearney, Grand Island, Norfolk and Holdrege.

Responsibilities

As an Electrical Estimator, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate, competitive bids that support our projects from concept to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
