Prizm Electrical Solutions, Inc. is hiring an Estimator to join our team in Denver, CO. This position will be responsible for preparing bid documents, cost estimates, and final proposals for electrical projects, as well as communicating with clients, vendors, engineers, architects, building officials, owners, contractors, and subcontractors.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Collaborate within design and estimating sessions with senior account managers and project management to strategize and prepare accurate, timely estimates and proposals.
• Acquire, organize, and analyze bid document packages from initial opportunity to final proposal.
• Understand RFP documents, including project schedules, general conditions, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Compile project statistics, including identifying the AHJ, effective sales rates, licensing requirements, and GSA per diems.
• Manage outgoing vendor bid packages and incoming proposals, ensuring compliance with RFQ and project specifications.
• Participate in design build value engineering and cost analysis.
• Create and revise proposals and estimates using Accubid estimating software.
• Engage in preconstruction and post-bid discussions with stakeholders.
• Participate in project closeout and occasional site visits.

Education and Experience

• Knowledge of estimating concepts, including quantifying electrical installation methods.
• Experience with estimating software such as Accubid or similar.
• Experience as an Electrical Estimator, Electrical Engineer, or in a related construction role.
• Master or JM electrician license is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or Construction Management is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, standing, repetitive wrist motions, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and organizational abilities.
• Teamwork and individual work capability.
• Limited travel as needed.
