Guarantee Electrical Company is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our Denver team. You will prepare project bids, perform take-offs, and provide critical support to estimating and project management for bids, design-build, and coordination with owners and architects.

We value experience in electrical estimating, strong organization, and the ability to balance workload while delivering accurate bid documents.

Formación

• Understanding of value engineering concepts and knowledge of electrical code, building codes and standards.
• Proficient in take-off and cost analysis.
• Experience compiling proposals and qualification statements.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare project bids by gathering proposals, blueprints and specifications.
• Compute costs by analyzing labor, materials and time requirements.
• Support estimating and project management by updating estimating records and coordinating with owner/developer/architect.
• Attend meetings with project architects/customers to resolve issues and ensure accurate bid documents.
• Monitor design scope changes affecting budget or schedule and advise accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of project bids, gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications and related documents. Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints and related documents.
• Computes costs by performing take-off, analyzing labor, material and time requirements.
• Provide critical support to estimating and project management by updating all estimating and design-build projects, working with owner/developer/architect for bid to companies.
• Attend meetings with project architects/customer as needed to assist with unresolved problems and ensure adequate coordination is happening to ensure accurate bid documents.
• Help monitor design scope for changes affecting budget or schedule; identifies cause and advises customer as needed

Qualifications

If non-office, please describe:

• Understanding of value engineering concept and knowledge of electrical code, building codes and standards.
• Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Viewpoint, Accubid.
• Exceptional organization skills and project/program management.
• 5+ years' experience in electrical estimating, performing preconstruction efforts and/or preparing proposal/qualification statements
• Attention to detail, self-reliant, ability to balance workload, professional & positive attitude!

Additional Skills & Abilities

• Two-year college degree or training; or equivalent experience within the construction industry
• Experience bidding industrial work
