Kolb Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced ESTIMATOR for Design Build Service Level Projects at our Washington DC Servicing Location.

The ideal candidate will have a background as a lead electrician or estimator and will visit residential, commercial and property management customers to develop solution-driven contract pricing, scope of work, material lists and labor hours. Strong customer communication, vendor relations and staff leadership are essential, with Excel and Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of Lead Electrician or Estimator experience.
• Professional license preferred (we will assist you in acquiring).
• Background and drug screen required.
• Electrical experience, including working with schematics.
• Familiarity with NEC regulations and low voltage systems.
• Purchase Orders and Vendor Interaction.
• Ability to read prints or schematics.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Visit residential, commercial and property management customers for solution-driven pricing.
• Evaluate customer needs, define scope of work, material list and labor hours.
• Maintain vendor relationships and lead team efforts.
• Ensure work is performed safely and accurately document records.

Requirements
