Job summary

Lonestar Electric Supply in Lafayette, LA seeks a Quotations Specialist to partner with the sales team and stakeholders to estimate revenue and material costs for electrical construction projects.

You will gather project details, prepare accurate quotes, and maintain pricing information from agents, while delivering high-quality customer service and coordinating with contractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage several portfolios for various clients at one time.
• Construction or Electrical knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work with customers and provide excellent service.
• Outstanding computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to multi-task while staying organized.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working as part of a team.
• Experience owning and completing projects independently.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with exemplary phone manners.

Responsibilities

• Understand scope and timeline of projects and work with sales teams.
• Participate in client meetings and facilitate handoffs to Project Management.
• Gather information to accurately estimate costs, revenue, and materials.
• Prepare submittals of lighting packages for customer approval.
• Obtain and maintain current pricing information from agents.
• Expedite quotes and prepare client reports.
• Coordinate with all departments to complete quotations.
