Job summary

Fresh Consulting in Washington is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to wire, assemble, test, and document electro‑mechanical prototypes. The role requires interpreting schematics, building test rigs, and following test plans with the team.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of hardware testing experience, can read schematics, and are able to analyze data. This is a WA-based contract (1099) with pay between $30–$40 per hour depending on location and experience.

Qualifications

• A.A. in Engineering Technology or B.S. in EE/EET required.
• 1–3 years as Electrical Technician on hardware.
• Ability to read and redline electrical schematics.
• Troubleshoot to component level; wiring prototype systems.

Responsibilities

• Wire and solder according to schematics.
• Redline and electrical schematic updates.
• Build and assemble project/prototype.
• Create BOMs and track procurement.
• Contribute to project Build Plan.
• Execute test procedures and debug concepts.
• Ensure high-quality test execution and results.
• Document performance data; summarize with statistics.
• Develop test strategies, plans and cases.
• Maintain Fresh shops, labs, tooling, equipment.
• Uphold safety measures and guidelines.
• Support mechanical and electrical builds with teams.
