Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in New York, NY is offering Electrical Engineering Summer Interns to join our NY office. You will support our engineering teams delivering design documentation, AutoCAD and REVIT drawings, and assist with calculations and field observations.

The program emphasizes hands-on learning through our Intern Education Program and EDT track, with lunch-and-learn sessions, mentorship, and potential full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering.
• Must be at a minimum, completed your second year.
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience a huge plus.
• Knowledge in the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.
• Basic knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Electrical systems
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Electrical systems
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions
