Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in California offers an Electrical Engineering Summer Intern position to support engineering teams. You will work on designs, learn from experienced engineers, and contribute to AutoCAD and REVIT drawings on real projects.

The internship requires pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering, having completed at least the second year, and familiarity with MS Office.

Qualifications

Pursing a bachelor's Degree from accredited university in Electrical engineering or Architectural Engineering.
Must be at a minimum, completed your second year.
Previous engineering internship or co-op experience a plus.
Knowledge in the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.
Basic knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Electrical systems.
Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Electrical systems.
Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe.
Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions.
