Job summary

GOTAFE is seeking an Electrical Engineering intern to assist in design and development of electrical systems. You will conduct tests to ensure performance and reliability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project execution.

This internship provides exposure to industry-standard tools, hands-on experience, and learning about electrical codes and standards within a global organization. You will develop analytical and communication skills while contributing to real projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Graduation date December 2027 or later.
• Continued enrollment in degree program after internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or similar field
• Graduation date December 2027 or later
• Continued enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship
• Validated academic excellence with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Authorization to work legally in the United States without current or future sponsorship
• Experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work efficiently with others at all levels
• Positive, can-do demeanor
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing environments
• Quick learner with a desire to broaden skills and experience
• Eager to help and proactive in offering assistance

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly base pay range of $25.00 to $44.85
• Relocation benefits and short-term housing for interns living 50 miles or more from assigned work location (excluding Puerto Rico and Canada)
