Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies in Santa Clara, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineer for an 11+ month contract to support facility power systems. You will analyze electrical loading, develop layouts with CAD/BIM tools, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The ideal candidate has a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and SKM PTW or similar tools. EIT certification and Revit experience are a plus.

Job description

Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Santa Clara, CA 95054

Duration: 11+ months

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical circuit assignments for facility systems.
• Analyze and validate electrical loading for:
• Switchboards
• Distribution boards
• Panel boards
• Support power distribution across multiple buildings.
• Develop and review electrical layouts using CAD/BIM tools.
• Collaborate as with multi-disciplinary teams in active environments.
• Help maintain safe, reliable and efficient electrical system operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience with SKM PTW or similar power analysis tools.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

Ideally, you\'ll also have:

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Experience with Revit or other BIM tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
