Amazon Robotics is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a team of electrical engineers across diverse technologies and production scales. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Electrical Engineering and emphasizes ownership, problem solving, and collaboration with firmware, mechanical, and systems teams.

The position focuses on delivering electrical products to market on time and within budget, while maintaining high performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of new hardware products development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• Experience in engineering team management.
• Experience in new hardware product development.
• Experience in DFx (cost, test, manufacturing).
• Experience with project management of technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of Electrical products to market on time, in budget and at targeted performance.
• Scope, manage, and deliver multiple technical projects in parallel from concept to production.
• Develop and report performance metrics for the electrical engineering team to peers and executives.
• Recruit and develop great people; continually raise the bar.
• Evaluate and drive improvements to design processes, tools, and best practices.
• Maintain strong communication with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Partner with engineering managers, product management, and program management to drive new product development from concept to production.
