Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to join our senior management team for the Atlanta market. This full-time role oversees growth, revenue, profitability, staff management, and client relationships, while guiding project delivery from start to finish.

The position requires an ABET-accredited engineering degree, 15+ years of electrical engineering experience, and a PE license, with strong analytical and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an ABET-accredited university.
• Advanced analytical, financial, and communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinking and planning with experience in financial analysis and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals and contracts for electrical engineering projects.
• Guide projects from proposal through completion ensuring alignment with client objectives and profitability targets.
• Lead complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects and contribute to project execution as needed.
• Oversee operations with budgeting, revenue forecasting, and staffing responsibilities.
• Foster an environment supporting growth, achievement, and advancement.
• Coach and mentor team members, conduct performance reviews, and recognize excellence.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and Operations to lead recruitment and hiring efforts.
• Perform business development tasks and attend networking events with clients.
• Review project revenue, monthly financial and business reports to drive profitability.
• Build trust and relationships with clients by delivering exceptional client success at every project phase.
