Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks an Electrical Engineering student intern to support the Analytical Engineering Lab. You will assist in analysis, testing, validation, and reliability assessment of electrical components and hardware systems, collaborating with experienced engineers and partners.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an EE program with coursework in electrical design, testing methods, and data analysis.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering.
At least some completed coursework or experience with electrical design tools and labs.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with electrical testing methods and measurement equipment.
Ability to interpret schematics, specifications, and test data.
Proficiency in English; ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

Analyze electrical/electronic components, subsystems, and hardware using engineering principles.
Execute established test plans for existing and new designs.
Support validation of electrical tolerances, form/fit/function, and EMI/EMC.
Assist with root-cause analysis of hardware issues.
Evaluate reliability of materials and manufacturing techniques.
Document results and recommendations in technical reports.
Provide technical support for design validation and risk mitigation.
