Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP is seeking an Electrical Engineering Labs Intern onsite in Texas. You will support analysis, testing, validation, and reliability assessment of electrical components, subsystems, and hardware systems, working with experienced engineers.

The role emphasizes collaboration, hands-on use of measurement equipment, and contributing to risk mitigation and design verification as part of a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering.
• Preferred to have completed at least three years of a bachelor’s program.

Responsibilities

• Analyze electrical and electronic components, subsystems, and hardware using established engineering principles.
• Execute established test plans for existing and new designs.
• Support validation of tolerances, form, fit, function, and performance tests.
• Assist with root-cause analysis of electrical hardware issues and product escalations.
• Evaluate reliability of materials, components, designs, and manufacturing techniques.
• Develop understanding of electrical hardware design and development processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on projects.
• Document analysis and test results in technical reports and presentations.
• Provide technical support for design validation and risk mitigation.
