Job summary

Olsson is seeking a summer 2027 student intern to contribute to multidisciplinary design projects. You will assist with equipment sizing, system optimization, and construction drawings, while gaining exposure to electrical modeling of facility infrastructure including power, lighting, and data/security systems.

Ideal candidates are pursuing electrical or architectural engineering with a Spring 2028 graduation date, possess Revit experience, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• You are pursuing a degree in electrical or architectural engineering with an expected graduation date of spring 2028.
• Experience with Revit software is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is expected.
• Problem-solving and attention to detail are valued.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment sizing and selection, system optimization and configuration.

Job Description

Olsson provides multidisciplinary design services for a variety of data center campuses throughout the nation. As a summer 2027 student intern , you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. You will have the opportunity to work on some of the largest and most complex engineering-driven projects being built today. Depending on the projects, you may assist the team with equipment sizing and selection, system optimization and configuration, cross-discipline coordination, and the development of construction drawings and specifications. You will have the opportunity to be involved with electrical modeling of facility infrastructure, including the design and optimization of power infrastructure, lighting design, emergency power, data systems, and security systems.
