Qualifications

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to work independently and in group settings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in fieldwork and site visits (mostly in-state) and potential client meetings.
  • Assist in preparing engineering deliverables, including power system studies, condition assessments, and design documents (drawings and specifications) and reports.
  • Work with experienced engineering team for mentoring and development.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, and utility companies to select equipment and coordinate services.
  • Support multiple projects from planning through construction.

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking summer interns for our Buffalo office. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of water-related projects locally and nationally, working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to provide designs, assessments, and field services.
