Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to be based in our Tempe, AZ office. This full-time internship is open to students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Electrical Engineering program and runs a 12-week schedule beginning May 17, 2027, with flexible start date.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering undergraduate or related program with graduation August 2027 or later.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Demonstrated interest in Electrical Engineering and desire to grow with WSP projects.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engineering and non-engineering audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic principles of Electrical Engineering.
• Assist with healthcare project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
• Support preparation of final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and safety policies.
