Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber is seeking Electrical Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 in Grand Rapids, MI; Farmington Hills, MI; and Toledo, OH. This internship offers hands-on experience on electrical systems supporting diverse communities and real client projects.

You will work with experienced engineers on power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, security, and instrumentation. Strong communication and teamwork are essential; familiarity with AutoCAD/Revit is a plus but not required.

Qualificações

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit is preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with design of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, security, access control, and instrumentation and controls.
• Support development of construction documents, calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Participate in field investigations and assist with construction administration activities.
• Collaborate with engineers on projects across industrial, municipal, healthcare, commercial, and educational markets.
• Gain hands-on experience with engineering design software and industry standards on active client projects.
