Job summary

Fishbeck is seeking motivated Electrical Engineering Interns to join our teams in Grand Rapids, Farmington Hills, and Toledo for Summer 2027. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers on a variety of projects involving electrical systems that support the communities we serve, gaining hands-on experience in power distribution, lighting, and security systems.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit is preferred but not required.
• Previous internship, technical, or field experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design of electrical systems, including power distribution and lighting.
• Support development of construction documents, calculations, drawings, specifications.
• Participate in field investigations and construction administration activities.
• Collaborate with engineers on projects across multiple markets.
• Gain hands‑on experience with design software and industry standards.
