Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with at least one year of technical coursework.
• On-site in Wesley Chapel, FL part-time during the school year and full-time in the summer.
• Graduating December 2027 or after.
• Experience in programming and script files.
• Practical knowledge of 3-phase power systems.
• Working knowledge of emulators and logic analyzers.
• Familiar with MS Windows and serial port terminal emulation software.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Able to learn new skills and work cooperatively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to SEL staff and customers.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of SEL processes and technologies.
• Perform testing on new and existing technology.
• Assist engineers with electrical enclosure and test rack creation.
• Develop simulators and test customer Protection/Automation systems.
• Assist with HMI creation and PLC programming.
• Assist with Power system studies and SEL relay settings.
• Research and test new tools and technologies.
• Follow SEL values and principles and strive for clarity and simplicity.
