Job summary

Gray AES is looking to add an Electrical Engineering Intern in our Atlanta, GA office for Summer 2027. This role supports design activities across interior lighting, exterior lighting, power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, telecommunications, and security systems under supervision.

Candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, must have strong communication and teamwork, and RevIT experience is preferred. The position does not offer visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
• Revit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design interior lighting, exterior lighting, power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, telecommunications, and security systems.
• Document calculations reflecting design compliance with code and client-specific design requirements.
• Perform quality control reviews of documents including plans, specifications, and design calculations.
• Work with Project Managers to ensure that the project schedule is met and that complete documents are provided for each submission.
• Review contractor RFIs, shop drawings, and product submittals.
• Other duties as assigned
