Job summary

SEL presents an internship opportunity where you will provide technical support to SEL staff and customers, while developing expertise in SEL processes and technologies. You will test new and existing technology and document test results, applying SEL Values and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

You will also contribute to communication of findings, learn to simplify complex concepts, and collaborate within a team to drive value during your internship, with the possibility of full-time

Qualifications

• Experience in programming and script files
• Practical knowledge of 3-phase power systems
• Working knowledge of emulators and logic analyzers
• Ability to use MS Windows and serial port terminal emulation software
• Practical knowledge of SEL protective relays & automation controllers
• Ability to use Microsoft Visio
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Background check results satisfactory to SEL
• Negative drug test result(s)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to SEL staff & customers.
