Job summary

Energy Transfer LP in Houston, TX seeks an Electrical Engineering / I&E Intern to work with an experienced engineer on design, construction, and commissioning of gas compressor stations and liquid pump facilities. Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Sophomore standing by start of internship.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and power distribution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Interest in energy or pipeline industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and installation of electrical and automation systems for pipeline and facility operations.
• Support station controls hardware, networks, instrumentation, and related equipment.
• Review P&ID and instrument index; develop setpoints and operations.
• Assist on FAT/CAT validation and commissioning; integrate 3rd party skid and remote communications.
• Prepare and review technical standards, specifications, and procedures; coordinate data collection.
