Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support the assigned design department by assisting with a variety of tasks, including design work and documentation, to gain practical experience and support educational development. Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing an ABET accredited undergrad in Architectural or Electrical Engineering.
• Interest in buildings and facilities projects and willingness to learn industry standards.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior team members with basic design tasks, research, studies and layout support.
• Help prepare drawings and documents for programming, schematic design, modeling, graphics and construction phases.
• Support creation of presentation and marketing materials.
• Assist with construction phase activities, site visits, RFI responses and record drawings updates.
• Follow quality control procedures and ask questions as needed.
• Learn department and company standards and best practices.
• Develop basic design, analysis and technical skills through hands-on experience.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with team members.
• Receive guidance from supervisors and team leaders and work with multidisciplinary staff.
