Job summary

Knobelsdorff (KE) is seeking an Electrical Engineering intern to gain hands-on experience on state-of-the-art projects in Goodhue, MN. You will contribute to project work, participate in cross-functional collaboration, and support engineering efforts across Automation, Electric, Energy, and Power services.

Candidates are pursuing an Electrical Engineering or related degree and must be able to work five days per week.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an electrical engineering or related degree.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking.
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to report progress daily to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating work and construction documents with internal stakeholders.
• Modeling equipment and raceways layouts in 2D/3D.
• Exposure to design software tools for project specifics.
• Designing and working with electrical equipment such as transformers and switchgear.
• Creating and editing schedules (panel, conduit, cable).
• On-site exposure to translate drawings into construction activities.
• Additional duties as assigned.
