Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to learn the basics of design and analyses within his or her discipline.

• Incumbent must be able to operate a computer to check email and to produce documents using a software program.
• Incumbent shall be able to traverse and navigate construction sites to inspect work done by contractors.
• Manipulates plans periodically. Must be able to lift plans weighting 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering staff in executing technical activities on assigned projects.
• Learn discipline policies and procedures under supervision.
• Participate in technical studies, investigations, and designs on assigned projects.
• Assist in production of project documents as part of the project team.
