ACCIONA Energía seeks an Electrical Engineering Intern to support the development and construction of renewable energy projects in Chicago. You’ll work on electrical design, contractor coordination, and specifications under experienced engineers, including reviews of drawings, RFIs, and bid evaluations.

You’ll be enrolled in a B.S. program in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

• Assist with preparing bid packages and evaluating contractor and supplier proposals.
• Review electrical equipment and material proposals and prepare bid tab evaluations.
• Take on additional engineering support tasks as assigned.

ACCIONA Energía is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support the development and construction of renewable energy projects. This position provides hands‑on experience working alongside experienced engineers on electrical design, specifications, and contractor management for large‑scale renewable energy facilities.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

Support electrical engineering contractors with renewable facility design, including reviewing drawings, specifications, and RFIs.

Assist project managers with preliminary design of low voltage systems, collection systems, and substations.

Required Skills and Competencies

Effective team player who can also work independently.

Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn from experienced engineers.

Proficiency with MS Office and general computer literacy.

Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel if required.
