TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking motivated engineering interns for Summer 2027 to assist our electrical engineering team in designing and simulating circuits for military and space-based applications.

Under direct supervision, you will gain experience in analog and digital design, manufacturing processes, and testing. You will work with engineers, technicians, and other interns to review designs, prepare gated design presentation materials, and evaluate components and layouts using CAD tools

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding and strong interest in analog and digital electronics.
  • Circuit simulation using SPICE.
  • Modelsim (VHDL/Verilog) usage experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work independently or within a team environment.
  • Collaborate with interns, technicians, and engineers on program tasks.
  • Perform reviews before design release.
  • Prepare presentations for gated design reviews.
  • Design and evaluate electrical circuits.

We are looking for talented and highly motivated individuals to assist our electrical engineering team with the design and development of leading-edge products for military and space-based applications. Under direct supervision, you will design and simulate circuits and gain knowledge in analog and digital design, manufacturing, and testing.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work independently or within a team environment.
  • Work with other interns, technicians, and engineers on specific program tasks.
  • Perform reviews before design release.
  • Prepare presentations for gated design reviews.
  • Design and evaluate electrical circuits.
  • Review manufacturing approach and evaluate limitations against current designs.
  • Identify and evaluate new components for use in designs.
  • Utilize CAD software to implement and review circuit layout.
Essential Knowledge and Skills
  • A basic understanding and strong interest in analog and digital electronics.
  • Circuit simulation using SPICE.
  • Logic simulation using Modelsim (VHDL/Verilog).
  • Capable of working on multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical ability and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Actively pursues opportunities to expand job-related knowledge.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience
  • Majoring in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Microelectronics coursework preferred.
  • PCB design experience using Altium desired.

This internship is for Summer 2027.

Compensation

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $51,621 - $81,595

  • An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment.
  • Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
