The role emphasizes CAD design, wiring diagrams, and collaboration with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production. Candidates must be enrolled in a relevant degree program and will gain hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related technical degree at an accredited university.
• Skills/Knowledge of CAD and PLM software, including NX and Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of Siemens Capital software.

Responsibilities

• Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, control panels using CAD.
• Research and prepare engineering drawings; coordinate with Systems Eng., Manufacturing, and Production to meet requirements at minimum cost.
• Designs can include Avionics Systems, RF, LAN, Data Processing, Power Distribution; electrical loads analysis.
• Support testing and integration of systems on the aircraft.

Job Description:

In this role, you will learn to design and develop electrical systems for the integration of electrical/electronic equipment on military/commercial aircraft and ground stations. Electrical Engineers have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of tasks and aircraft systems on numerous aircraft platforms.

Essential Functions:

• Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, control panels and other items using CAD (Computer Aided Design) tool

• Research and preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination of design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to ensure that designs meet requirements at minimum cost

• Designs can include development of Avionics Systems, RF, LAN, Data Processing, Power Distribution Systems, Electrical Loads analysis, Load shedding scheme to name a few, along with the opportunity to support testing and integration of systems on the aircraft

  Qualifications:

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree or a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science degree or related technical degree at an accredited university.

  Preferred Additional Skills:

• Skills/Knowledge of with CAD and PLM software, including NX and Teamcenter

• Knowledge of Siemens Capital software

  In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $28.50 - $41.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
