Job summary

Foth in Green Bay, WI is seeking an Electrical Engineering co-op for Summer–Fall 2027 to apply classroom knowledge on real client projects, design and troubleshoot systems, and gain hands-on experience alongside experienced engineers.

Based in Green Bay, this role offers exposure to AutoCAD and PLC programming, with possible travel to client sites. You will work under supervision to develop drawings and validate software and drawings.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical software.
• Coursework or experience with theory and/or programming of industrial PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Apply electrical engineering fundamentals while performing design tasks under a lead engineer.
• Develop detailed electrical design drawings using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Program PLCs and HMI hardware.
• Assist with validation of the software and drawing databases.

As an Electrical Engineering Co-op, you’ll apply your classroom knowledge to practical challenges while working alongside experienced engineers. Based in Green Bay, WI, this role offers hands‑on involvement in designing and troubleshooting systems, as well as exposure to advanced engineering processes. Spanning Summer - Fall 2027, the position may also include travel to client sites—providing a unique perspective on how engineering solutions come to life in the field.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Apply electrical engineering fundamentals while performing design tasks under the supervision of a lead engineer
• Develop detailed electrical design drawings using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical software packages
• Program PLC’s and HMI hardware
• Assist with validation of the software and drawing databases

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• GPA of 3.0 or greater
• Previous experience with and/or coursework in AutoCAD
• Previous experience with and/or coursework involving theory and/or programming of industrial PLCs
