As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of complex electrical systems for water, wastewater, and industrial facilities—from concept through construction. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys technical depth, project collaboration, and making a tangible impact through essential infrastructure.

Role Accountabilities

In this role, you will:

  • Plan, design, and coordinate electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities, including power distribution, motor control systems, VFDs, lighting, communications, fire alarm, and control systems
  • Produce high-quality electrical design deliverables such as one-line diagrams, control schematics, plans, specifications, and design calculations using Autodesk and Bentley platforms
  • Support project delivery by assisting with budgets, schedules, and coordination to ensure projects are executed successfully within scope, schedule, and budget
  • Perform power system studies and analyses using tools such as ETAP, SKM Power Tools, or similar software to support safe, reliable, and resilient system performance
  • Provide engineering support during construction through submittal and shop drawing reviews, RFI responses, field inspections, and collaboration with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Key Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate brings experience in industrial electrical design and power distribution, with a strong understanding of equipment layout and system integration. You are organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting project deadlines. Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines are essential. This role is well-suited for engineers motivated by sustainability, resilience, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact through critical water infrastructure.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
