Job summary

RFA Engineering in Horicon, Wisconsin is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to support the development of vehicle electrical systems for outdoor power equipment and off-highway vehicles. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related
• 3+ years in vehicle electrical system design, integration, validation, or testing
• Experience with wiring harnesses, electrical schematics, and components
• Understanding of hardware-software interactions in embedded systems
• Ability to own and manage project deliverables from concept to implementation
• Familiarity with product development processes and engineering changes
• Strong written and verbal communication, organized and self-motivated

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage electrical system requirements with cross-functional teams
• Design, integrate, and release vehicle electrical systems and wiring harnesses
• Create and maintain BOMs for electrical systems and platforms
• Coordinate with suppliers on feasibility, development and validation
• Provide technical support during prototypes, validation and launches
• Assist in testing, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with quality, manufacturing, validation and PM teams
• Support continuous improvement of development processes and practices
