Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7–10 years in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience in circuit design, PCB layout, and power systems.
• Knowledge of DfX with cost and manufacturability focus.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with suppliers on technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex electrical issues across systems with emphasis on cost reduction, supply resilience, and reliability.
• Lead value engineering initiatives including cost reduction, multi-sourcing, electrical redesign, and supplier transitions.
• Develop or modify electrical architectures, schematics, PCBAs, harnessing, and power/control systems for complex applications.
• Partner with strategic suppliers to qualify and optimize electrical components and assemblies.
• Apply Design for Cost, Manufacturability, and Supply Chain principles to electrical designs.
• Support ECO evaluation and execution while managing risk and impact.
• Support NPI cost evaluation and design convergence for targets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, PM, and Manufacturing.
• Define and execute electrical testing and validation for system-level performance and reliability.
• Perform power analysis, signal integrity, thermal-electrical studies, and component optimization.
• Generate and review electrical specs, test plans, and documentation.
• Contribute to value tracking, PPV, and opportunity identification.
