Job summary

Kratos Industries LLC in Colorado is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and support UL891 switchboards, metal-clad MV switchgear, and related power distribution equipment in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

You will create wiring diagrams, BOMs, and production docs; ensure accuracy and timely releases; collaborate across engineering, production, and vendors; and uphold Kratos' Code Orange values.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing environment experience is required.
• Experience with engineered-to-order electrical equipment.
• Strong documentation practices and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and support electrical engineering projects for switchboards and switchgear.
• Prepare and maintain electrical designs, schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, BOMs, and production docs.
• Ensure deliverables are accurate, complete, and released on time to support production schedules.
• Create and maintain accurate BOMs to support ERP coordination.
• Maintain engineering drawings, revisions, redlines, and as-built documentation.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, quality, sales, and project management teams.
