Shield AI in Dallas is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Hardware Test team. You will design and automate test systems for UAV components, working hands-on with PCB design and environmental testing to ensure reliability in extreme conditions.

You will collaborate across power electronics, RF, and integration disciplines, building fixtures and scripts that enable repeatable tests while supporting rapid product iterations in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience, or you are a student graduating in 2026.

Responsibilities

• Design and own test systems for UAV components and subsystems from concept to validation.
• Work across power electronics, RF, communications, and system integration.
• Develop PCBs to interface test stands with the device under test (DUT).
• Build custom test fixtures for automated, high-fidelity testing.
• Automate test sequences with Python for repeatability and scalability.
• Collaborate in cross-functional design reviews to improve testability.
• Adapt and innovate in a fast-moving environment, directly impacting mission success.
• Other duties as assigned.
