Job summary

Transcend Softech LLC in Irvine, CA seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to support design, validation, and production transition of electrical systems and test equipment. You will craft test procedures, perform validation tests, and create detailed engineering drawings for assemblies and cable harnesses.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical design experience, the ability to develop test plans, and strong analytical skills for reporting results and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in electrical engineering, testing, or product validation.
• Experience designing electrical test equipment and fixtures.
• Ability to develop and execute test procedures.
• Experience creating electrical schematics, assembly and cable drawings.
• Knowledge of measurement equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters and DAQ systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical test equipment to support validation and manufacturing.
• Create detailed test procedures, plans, and documentation for testing.
• Perform electrical and functional testing for design validation and qualification.
• Support transition of products from development into production.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, drawings, and cable harness drawings.
• Analyze test results and prepare technical reports with findings and recommendations.
