Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and support medium-voltage switchgear solutions. You will review electrical drawings and specs, create drawings and BOMs, and lead deliverables to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1+ years designing or configuring electrical power distribution systems.
• Experience with MV switchgear and related design tools.

• Continue developing your expertise in power systems and switchgear design.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 1+ years of experience designing or configuring electrical power distribution systems.
• Experience working with MV switchgear.
• Experience with electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, ELCAD, Engineering Base, or similar tools.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems preferred).
• Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, UL, and NEMA standards.
• Experience with air-insulated or gas-insulated switchgear (GIS).
• Experience using CAD design tools and electrical drafting software.
