Magma Space Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer in Washington, DC to own electrical hardware for spaceflight actuators and control systems. You’ll collaborate across teams, bring up boards, and develop test procedures, with 1–3 years of experience favored.

Join a hands-on, startup-spirited environment building spacecraft hardware. Candidates should be comfortable with lab equipment, board design tools (Altium or KiCad), and be a U.S. person due to ITAR/EAR requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering required.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred; internships or project work considered.
• Familiar with lab equipment and measurement tools.
• Some board design experience with Altium or KiCad preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform schematic capture and PCB layout for critical components.
• Bring up and debug boards.
• Write and execute test procedures.
• Build cable harnesses, test fixtures, and GSE.
• Collect and analyze test data and write test reports.
• Solder and rework boards.
• Maintain component libraries and BOMs.
• Assist in process development, strategy and procurement.
