Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is looking for an Electrical Engineer – Level 2 to join the team in Huntsville, AL. The role involves authoring electrical work packages, supporting vehicle level tests, and developing troubleshooting plans within a dynamic mission environment.

The candidate should have a STEM degree with 2 years of experience or a Master’s with 0 years, plus interim Secret security clearance. Relocation assistance and a strong benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 2 years of professional experience, OR Master’s degree with 0 years.
• Requires an interim active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application.
• Experience supporting avionics, system level, or ground support equipment testing.
• General electrical engineering, power systems, RF, and digital and analog electronic system background.

Responsibilities

• Authoring electrical work packages and executing procedures as the test conductor.
• Supporting vehicle level tests and collaborating with a team of support engineers/technicians.
• Complete data reviews post test execution.
• Development and execution of troubleshooting plans for nonconformances.
• Support the development of quality processes and procedures.
• Maintain close coordination with the engineering manager on electrical engineering activities and milestones.
• Participates in daily escalation and tiered meeting structures.
• Support transition to digital work instructions (MES).
• Other duties as assigned.
