Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Electrical Engineer – Level 2 to support all phases of electrical engineering from inception through flight hardware testing and launch support equipment. The role requires authoring work packages, conducting tests, and coordinating with a team of engineers and technicians.

The position emphasizes troubleshooting, data reviews, and development of quality processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 2 years of professional experience or a Master’s degree with no experience.
• Interim active U.S. Government Secret clearance at time of application.
• Background in electrical engineering, power systems, RF, and digital/analog electronics.
• Experience supporting avionics, system level, or ground support equipment testing.

Responsibilities

• Authoring electrical work packages and executing procedures as the test conductor.
• Supporting vehicle level tests and collaborating with a team of engineers/technicians.
• Complete data reviews after test execution.
• Develop and execute troubleshooting plans for nonconformances.
• Support development of quality processes and procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering management on activities and milestones.
• Participate in daily escalations and tiered meetings.
• Support transition to digital work instructions (MES).
• Other duties as assigned.
