Job summary

The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) seeks a civilian Electrical Engineer at Cheyenne Mountain SFS, Colorado. This NH-0850-03 position performs design, project programming and construction management to support a military installation and space/homeland defense missions.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years’ experience, strong high-voltage and power distribution expertise, and a PMP or related project management background. Up to 25% travel; telework options possible.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Top Secret with SCI eligibility required; NDA signed.
• ABET-accredited degree in Electrical Engineering required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Experience with high-voltage systems, power distribution and lighting.

Responsibilities

• Design, project programming and construction management for critical electrical systems.
• Coordinate with mission teams and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
• Manage projects from planning through delivery.
