Job summary
JennMar seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead Ignition (SCADA) development and plant electrical support, with hands-on work alongside maintenance. Regional duties span VA, SC, and GA, with preferred on-site presence in Abington, Princeton or Bluefield, VA.
Required: Ignition by Inductive Automation certification and Allen-Bradley programming experience; 2–4 year Electrical Engineering Technology degree; 5+ years in industrial electrical roles; proficiency with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and AutoCAD
Qualifications
- 2-4 year Electrical Engineering Technology degree or similar.
- 5+ years’ experience in an industrial Electrical Technician/Engineering role.
- Ignition by Inductive Automation Experience or Certification, Required.
- Allen-Bradley programming experience or training, Required.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates a commitment to safety standards and practices.
- Maintain a high level of safety support through observations, evaluations, and audits.
- Oversee all corporate Ignition installations at each plant site.
- Participate in developing equipment preventive maintenance routines (PMs).
- Oversee the scope of engineering work for plant electrical projects.
- Manage projects as directed by management personnel.
